Introduction

My favorite part of my job is being able to be a sort of documentarian. Capturing not just the important moments, but all the little candid moments from a day. It is my goal to deliver to you a gallery of photos that really embody the spirit and joy of our time together; no matter the occasion. You can check out my Instagram @leozimmerportraits to see more of my portrait and events work. Or to see some of what I shoot in my free time go to @leozimmerphotography

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All pricing quotes include: the photoshoot, processing/editing photos, and building a digital gallery for high resolution downloads.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I work closely with every customer to craft a photography package that will meet their exact needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've been focused on expanding my photography skills for the last 5 years. In 2022 I began to shoot professionally and now I run my own photography business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
For many years I spent my time honing my skills doing wildlife and nature photography. This has given me an eye for catching the moment and working with natural light. But as my family grew, I spent more and more time taking pictures of people and portraits. I fell in love with finding candid, beautiful moments with family and friends. Now I spend most of my time doing portraits and events work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Weddings, parties, family pictures, or even snapping photos of pets; you name it, I've shot it.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was hired to shoot a small mountain wedding. Knowing the couple was not familiar with the area I worked closely with them to figure out what they were looking for. I scouted for locations and found a beautiful overlook. When the day came, we made our way to the overlook and took some beautiful newlywed photos. They turned out to be some of the couples favorite photos from the day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a photographer whose photos speak to you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It's much easier to build a quote if you know: when you want your photographer, what the event is, how many people, and what time of day you are looking for.
