Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing depends on the session details. Please call with any questions you may have.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I am strong with communication. Once we agree on a budget, place and time I stay in touch with the client before the session. This includes recommendation of attire and discussion of weather (if it is an outdoor session). I call the day before to confirm and discuss any last minute details. During the session, I am able to make the person comfortable pretty fast as I create a fun atmosphere and encourage playfulness. I believe my portfolio shows that.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I took private lessons from an established professional photographer. She said I learned in 3 months what normally takes an average person 2 years. I believe having over 30 years of graphic design and printing experience, I already had the fundamentals established.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been a graphic and web designer for 30+ years and in the print industry for 20+ years. It was only natural to add photography into my already established company.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with families, weddings, engagements, musical events, natural head shots, kids, children, babies, animals, birthday parties, graduations, food, sports, etc. I am not a one trick type of photographer. I have put years in of hard work to become professional in all fields of photography.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had the honor and privilege of working with a Charlotte Panther team member and his family. It was a private session with the family being simply that... a family! Beautiful session.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
It is very important to not only review the photographers portfolio, but also take some time to read testimonials. Not everyone who has a camera is a photographer. There is so much behind the scenes work but most of all, you want to work with someone who knows how to interact well to produce the best natural looking shots.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
In a field of artistry, I believe the first question should be "what location do you think is best to capture the images I am looking for?"
