The Reel Shot Photography obtained its LLC in 2019 and has captured so many beautiful memories since! I’m an inclusive, charismatic and intentional photographer focused on ensuring that you enjoy and get the most out of our shoot.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I’m open to payment plans if my customer needs to pay off their photo shoot slowly prior to the date of the shoot. I’m also open to negotiate prices with college students!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I ask my customers what they have in mind for the photo shoot and if they have any specific preferences. Then, I book them and discuss locational details!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’m graduating this May from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a bachelor’s in Film Studies and minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been taking photography for 6 years!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with all ages and animals as well!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

This passed December, I did 24 mini Christmas card sessions with Buckles & Bows, located in Morehead City, NC. I was there from the time they opened to the time that they closed, but I had a blast with all of the kids and families. It was sweet seeing customers use the photos in their Christmas cards!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a photographer that you would feel comfortable shooting with. It’s important to feel comfortable during a shoot in order to accomplish the best photographs that showcase the real you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should think about their budget, the potential locations they may want the photo shoot to take place at and if there are any accessibility accommodations that the photographer may need to make.
