Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is ultimately determined by how long the session is and how many images you are looking for. This varies for headshot and portrait shoots from 10 - 100 images. Social media shoots tend to request image counts closer to the 100 delivered. Additional editing or retouching is available as an extra for those who want it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start by asking my clients what they are looking for, how many images they would like to have and what they will ultimately use the images for. I will then make suggestions to meet their needs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with many different types of clients: Corporate event planners, private event planners, actresses, vocalists, musicians, dancers, entrepreneurs, corporate staff and people looking for LinkedIn photos and other social media images.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at the photographer's images to see if they fit your personality and taste. If they fit your vision of an event or headshot, then engage him or her. If not, move on. There are no right or wrong images in photography, only personal preferences.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do they need the images for, how many images do they want and how do they want to depict themselves.
