My name is Brian, and I've been a photographer for more than 30 years. I enjoy all types of photography projects and specialize in portraits, engagements, and weddings.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We discuss what kind of shoot you're looking for, how many people, the location, the duration, etc. I'll quote you a price based on that. I'll need your email address to send a digital contract outlining the work. You just click on it and enter your name, very simple process. I require the contract and a 50% deposit up front to hold the date/time. The remainder of the payment is due the date of the shoot, after we're done. I have the photos back to you generally within a week or less.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been shooting since 1987, classes in high school and college. I interned for several pro photographers, and furthered my career with online courses and in-person training. I'm now a teacher of photography myself, and have won many photo contests and have been published in international magazines.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started back in high school, but I've really only been shooting portraits for 15 years or so. I love bringing out everyone's unique look and personality.

What types of customers have you worked with?

At this point, just about everyone! All ages, all religions, races, etc.!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

There's a project listed that's one of my favorites, a local musician needing some portraits for social media and branding. We shot in Asbury NJ, which has it's own special vibe and a rich musical history, so it was the perfect place.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's ok if you don't have all the answers to what you're looking for, reach out to me anyway. We'll discuss options and what's possible, where to shoot, etc. I have the experience to help you get the look and fell you want, and to make the shoot a special event!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How many people, what it's for, the ages (if they're under 18), where you'd like to shoot (i.e., outside at a location, your home, my studio, etc.), and of course what time frame is good for you.
