What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, we'll have a free consultation to discuss what type of photos you want to take. We'll brainstorm together and come up with the best ideas for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
In high school I was in the photography program shooting and processing film and photographs in the school darkroom. After graduating 1974, military service and family obligations put a temporary hold on my passion for photography. I re-connected in the digital age, and began taking on-line courses where I became aware of the advantage of shooting in Adobe Camera Raw (as opposed to jpeg) and the workflow process for achieving proper white balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, tonal balance, and sharpening with Photoshop. By constantly practicing what I learned and learning new techniques every week I grew more confident in my ability to adjust my camera settings to produce high quality images. I'll never know it all, and at present I'm studying off camera lighting and Photoshop blending techniques - especially as these techniques apply to real estate photography.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Photography has been a hobby of mine for years and morphed into part time in 2012.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Photography has includes corporate headshots, Senior photos, back to school photos and family sessions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The three biggest things are satisfaction, quality and efficiency. I pride myself on fast sessions and turn around. Especially if you are in need of a photo quickly, look for a photographer willing to deliver quality in a short time frame.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
These are the top 2 questions photographers will ask when planning and confirming a photo shoot: 1. Do you have a specific location in mind for your photo shoot? 2. How many subjects do you want for your photo shoot? Quotes may vary if you would like to add/omit people from the session.
