What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we play a thrilling round of 20 Questions. You tell me everything—your vision, your vibe, your “must-have” shots, and yes, even your favorite pizza topping if it feels relevant. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Oh, I’ve got the best education money can’t buy: years of hands-on experience and a Master’s degree from the prestigious University of YouTube. My professors? Legends like “How to Shoot in Low Light” and “Editing 101 with Coffee at Midnight.” Beyond that, my best friends—my camera and lenses—have taught me more than any classroom ever could. Together, we’ve conquered everything from unpredictable Vegas lighting to toddlers on a sugar high. Add in countless real-world sessions with amazing clients, and I’ve earned the unofficial title of Master Photographer (self-proclaimed but totally deserved). So, while I may not have a fancy diploma, I’ve got the skills, experience, and sheer determination to make magic happen every time I pick up my camera.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been hooked on photography since the 90s, back when I was burning through rolls of film and my first clients were horses. (Spoiler: they didn’t pay me either, but they posed better than stuffed animals.) Fast forward to 2019, and I escaped the soul-sucking world of health insurance—leaving paperwork purgatory and boring spreadsheets behind to pursue photography full time. Now I’m out here in Vegas, chasing neon lights and capturing clients who are not only way more photogenic than horses and so much fun to work with!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

It took a couple of hours (and a lot of patience waiting for the perfect moment), but hey—what happens in Vegas stays beautifully lit in my photos.
