Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing structure is generally based on the square footage of the property. Our pricing is competitive with other real estate photography companies.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
During the initial meeting, I will answer all questions or concerns regarding what your needs are. Once we have established your service needs and budget, I will send you a property information form to fill out to gather all of the pertinent information I need to schedule the photography shoot.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been a professional photographer since 2006 and have photographed everything from weddings (about 2,500), portraiture, fashion, food, e-commerce, families and everything in between. I have been a real estate photographer for 6 years and have photographed a few thousand homes in Las Vegas. Fun fact, I also was a real estate appraiser here in Las Vegas and ran my own company, Desert Appraisal Group, from 1997 to 2007.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always had a love for photography since I was a young. I am an artist and musician as well. Both of my parents were artists and my father was a musician, singer and songwriter. Art is in my blood LOL!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Within the real estate industry, I have worked with all types including residential real estate agents, commercial agents, and homeowners

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
To be honest, I shoot many listings per week and run my business so it's hard to remember most but one that stands out, we photographed a recent high end luxury home last month and the property was spectacular! The homeowner/agent was extremely nice and allowed is to capture her home in a way that allowed us to shoot a little more artistically so that we could really make her home stand out. This particular shoot took us about 2 hours. The photos came out amazing and she couldn't have been more happy with the results! One of my favorite shoots!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Many professional real estate photographers are really good at what they do which is to provide you with images that will help elevate your listing to entice prospective buyers to want to visit the home. However, as important as that is, I really believe that excellent customer service is what is important, if not even more important. Competency in our skill set and the ability to work with clients to make their experience a good one, shouldn't be overlooked. We strive for that with every client and every job. Our goal is to always try and meet, or exceed, the clients expectation. We take that very seriously.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The type of service they need to accomplish what their needs are. For real estate photography, think about the amount of coverage they will need to show the property in its best light and determine what other services might add value to their listing to be able to stand out from their competition.
