Working across the NY tri-state area, we are fully capable of offering our drone services within New York City* and beyond. Combining creativity, courtesy, and skill, we strive to offer exceptional work and consultative services to fully manage the project and achieve our client’s vision. We are FAA-certified, commercially licensed, and carry up to $4 million in liability insurance. *Please note that to fly drones in NYC, though, a $153 non-refundable fee is required, and Dreamscape Aerials will need a 2-week permitting window to obtain the necessary approvals.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Quotes are subject to vary based on the scope of your project. Our rates are based on half- vs. full-day commitments. Dreamscape Aerials also accounts for travel expenses and editorial time if you wish for a video production to be included as a deliverable. We also offer discounts for new and returning clients.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every engagement begins with a free consultation and pre-flight analysis (PFA) to review your request, determine availability and any potential airspace/flight restrictions, and answer any logistical concerns you may have, so we can best meet your needs and create content that matches your vision. Once we've had the chance to connect, Dreamscape Aerials will send you an initial quote, and pending your approval, a contract will be forwarded for signature to confirm the engagement.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Part 107 Remote Pilot License + Recurrent Certification Ascend Level II Pilot Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Master of Industrial/Organizational Psychology

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Flying drones was initially a hobby that turned into an artistic endeavor. In the wake of COVID-19, we doubled down on this passion and pursued our commercial license, and began developing our startup which came to be known as Dreamscape Aerials, LLC.

What types of customers have you worked with?

In recent years we have gained a variety of experience flying drones in different fields, from infrastructure inspections for telecommunications, to real estate, marketing and events, roof inspections for solar and insurance industries, and more! Ask us, we probably won't shut up about it.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We were recently given the opportunity to be a drone service provider for the 2022 Long Island Marathon! The event spanned an entire weekend at Eisenhower Park, during which we collaborated with the Race Organizer and captured stunning moments across all of the events.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please ensure that the Drone Service Provider you hire is commercially licensed (has their 'Part 107') and is operating under a legal entity.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

- Your budget - The area/environment where you'd like your project to take place - Preferred dates/time of day - Shot lists are always appreciated (or a description of what you had in mind) - Travel expenses (we're local to Long Island/Greater NYC Area) - Video resolution preferences - Airspace restrictions (anything within 5 miles of an airport may require additional authorization, which we can obtain but may take additional time to procure)
