Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer high quality architectural photography and real estate photography. Each real estate photography order includes a basic floor plan with dimensions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The process is simple and straightforward. Let me know your needs and we'll make it happen! :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've had a camera in my hand most of my life. I've do various types of photography and video work over the years. Most recently I've concentrated on architectural photography for Interior Designers, Architects and Contractors. In addition I've shot hundreds of residential real estate and hotel properties in the Tri-State area.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always loved photography and in the early 2000's I combined my interest in real estate and photography. After selling real estate for nearly 20 years and I decided to get back to something more creative and began shooting architectural and real estate photography.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My customers are a mix of Real Estate Agents, Property Management companies, Interior Designers, Architects, Contractors and Hotel Owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
An example of a real estate project I shot was an apartment building in Brooklyn for a Real Estate company. I shot a handful of units and delivered the final images back to the client within 3 days (for typical real estate shoots for one property the turn around is 24 to 48 hrs).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I tend to ask a lot of questions when I'm shopping for a product or service so my best advise would be to ask questions and don't assume anything. Depending on your project and your goal for the project the professional will ask you a series of questions to make sure they are a fit for your needs and that they can achieve the results you're after.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ultimately I think the best thing is to have an idea of the outcome and then discuss that with the professional you're asking to bid on the project. Perhaps find some inspiration photos on-line to help convey the style you're going for. There are many different styles of photography even for one particular segment like Real Estate. For example some photographers have a very natural style, other's use flash or lighting to achieve the final result and some use a combination. It's important to see some examples of their work to see if their style is a match for you.
