What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Prices vary depending on project details & location but most common projects are as follows - Headshots start at $250 for one outfit Family Portrait Sessions start at $450 Events start at $250/hr (min 2 hrs) Commercial Photography $1500 1/2 day (4 hrs), $2500 full day (8 hrs) 50% Deposit due upon booking to secure date

A brief discussion in person or via phone about your needs prior to the shoot helps to ensure best results. .

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

-Studied photography at Kenyon College. -Studio Manager for commercial photographer Michele Clement in San Francisco. -Portrait and event photographer ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I loved photography as an art form since I was a kid and got my first camera when I was in high school. I studied photography at Kenyon College and my first job after graduation was as a Studio Manager for a commercial photographer in Hollywood FL.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at photographers profile pricing to see if your budget is a match. If pricing is outside your budget please do not request a quote - photographer will pay lead fee even if not chosen for the job. Also, be specific about what you need, how many people will be photographed and how the photos will be used, how many locations are involved etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Look at the initial pricing listed by the photographer to determine if they are in your budget. Professionals pay for the lead even if you don't hire them so please do not submit your lead if the photographer is outside your budget.
