What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am very competitive in my rates. As I have said above, I shoot for the love of working with people and creating beautiful pictures. My pricing is modeled based on what I think is fair for both my customers and other photographers in the market who are trying to make a living and lose business from low ball photographers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Getting to know them at a much more personal level then just exchanging information. It’s important to see what the customer is looking to accomplish through their perspective not mine.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken a number of courses in post editing software.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As most photographers, it started as a hobby and progressed to something I felt comfortable offering as a service.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently shot a wedding and was able to deliver the finished photos within 3 weeks of ceremony.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who truly enjoys engaging the customer and building a relationship with their client. It makes for a lot more dynamic and comfortable shoot.
