Introduction

It is a privilege and honor to be invited to document special moments in my clients lives. Weddings. Newborn pictures. High School graduation. Family portraits. Commercial photography. Real Estate photography. All precious moments that show the precious happy times. I am PPA Certified and I have had the honor of shooting portraits for over 30 years. I have earned merited images in my state and I am well on my way to earning master of photography with PPA. I am PPA drone certified. This means I have a current Part 107 pilot's license, carry proper insurance, and have a substantial amount of flight hours. I shoot with full-frame Canon and Sony cameras.

unfold fold
I opened my studio in 1993.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Mostly I shoot weddings, but I also do portraits, events and child photography. I shoot lots of real estate photography during the week.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Just finished a wedding for a couple who hired me 2 years prior. I have done 4 on location shoots with them, their wedding, which was a 12 hour day, album design was 4 hours. I am I am their family photographer as I am for many couples once they see my high quality and commitment.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Meet in person and see if personalities click. You will be spending the day, a very special day together. Some photographers can totally take over the day. And some are more laid back and shoot a photo-journalistic style, like I do. Know what you want in pictures so you hire the right person.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Cameras and photography equipment cost thousands of dollars. Training and skill have a value as well. This is why good photographers charge a couple thousand or more to shoot a wedding. If you see prices for less, beware.
