Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have a base rate of $150 per session. This includes and hour long shoot at a location we agree upon. If you're inquiring about a wedding, my packages start at $1,200. I could direct you to my website for more details.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We would start by discussing time and location details, exactly what you're looking for in photos and any other important details. After that, I would send you a contract that would include all the details you would need to be fully aware of our agreement, so we both feel comfortable working together.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked in this industry for a year and a half. I have worked under and been mentored by a few different photographers and videographers in Columbus to grow in my skills.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always loved photos and being creative. Diving into this industry is definitely one of the best decisions I've made and has fulfilled such a deep passion to have a creative outlet that I love.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all types of clients. From weddings, to new born shoots. Family shoots to 1 year old cake smash shoots. Engagment shoots to relationship mile stones shoots. It's so fun to do different things each time.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was so honored to shoot portraits after a courthouse wedding, and the clients asked me to keep the wedding a secret for a little while. But I was so eager to share the photos with the world, so we agreed that until they were ready to share their news, I could post some details. I was able to get really creative with angles and shots and it was so fun to think outside of the box.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at their entire body of work. You'll never know what a photographer is capable of if you only check out the first few photos.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is there a certain number of photos you want to walk away with? How much are you willing to spend to get your photos done? Are you willing to be flexible and take advice from your photographer?
