Introduction

Hello Everyone! My name is Maria and I am an experienced wedding photographer. I think that I have a style that is creative and unique. I could go on and on about it, but I think the best way is for you to simply visit my website and decide for yourself! :) My job is incredible because I get to spend my days with people who enjoy one of the very best days of their lives, and I get to do it over and over and over. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is super super simple and totally fair and completely worth it!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love to chat about weddings - EVERYTHING about weddings - but especially photography. I cannot help myself but I get so excited and I think I approach every wedding as though it were my own!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have some formal training in both high school and college, but for the most part I am self-taught. I have years of experience ( started in 2001 ) and I have never stopped experimenting with new ideas and the latest trends along the way! I love to watch instructional videos while I'm editing, and I probably learn at least something new every day. My husband is also a professional photographer and we are constantly bouncing ideas off one another, critiquing each other, and so forth. Photography, and especially wedding photography, is a huge part of my life!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always enjoyed photography and actually started shooting weddings back before digital was even a thing ( you know - that old style they call film photography! ) and I love love love it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with probably every sort of customer - rich and poor, joyful and stressed, camera shy and camera loving, tall and short, skinny and curvy - you name it!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I never stop experimenting with lighting ( although I should note that I do not experiment at an actual wedding - that is all business! ) and so I recently started comparing my various off-camera flashes in different situations to see how each of the different devices might work for the better or worse. It was quite fun and quite educational, and I think I learned a lot that I can apply to future photoshoots!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take your time. Look carefully. Make a thoughtful decision.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish they knew how much I really do care about making sure that their images are absolutely perfect!
