Introduction

Michael Troisi Photography is different. You will find there are many photographers, with similar approaches and ideas. MTP has been capturing creative images for more than 15 years and is an all aspect, full-service photographer that provides images for the Real-estate, corporate, wedding and portrait industry, as well as the talent industry, and of course B2B. At MTP, I have a background in Classic Portraiture and Modeling/Actors portfolios. I have developed a candid style, that when combined, allows me to give you, that perfect in the moment shot. I am able to capture images that are both exquisite, full of emotion and charismatic. I encourage you to ask "if I can do that?" Chances are I can. I also ask for serious inquiries as my time, as well as yours is a precious commodity. Once hired, you will see that I truly do love what I do. I enjoy seeing ideas come together to tell a story. I enjoy watching the happy and sometimes surprised expressions when you see your images for the first time. Getting that perfect expression in your photos is one thing but getting that perfect expression from you while viewing them is priceless.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We have several tears of pricing depending on the job and the package you decide on. Through our consultation we will determine best price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
During the initial phone consultation or E-mail, we will discus ideas in order to build a story board. We will discus price and best package based upon your budget and creative ideas. I encourage the exchange of photos, as ideas, in order to be certain that we are on the same page. It is very important to us that we capture every creative idea that we come up with.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from Antonelli institute of Art and Photography in 1989. While always maintaining a small network of clients for my business, I have worked as an apprentice at fashion studios in NY and NJ and PA, I was the head portrait photographer and wedding photographer at a leading studio in NJ and have worked and photographed for countless modeling and talent agencies in the U.S.A. My work has been published in several magazines and has been seen as far as Paris and Milan. Now after 15 years of being in business I continue to be more and more creative. If I see something I have not done before I challenge myself to figure out how it was done, then I do it. Thus building a bigger and better repertoire of creative styling's to deliver to you.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My dad purchased the first family camera with removable lenses (dslr), when I was in High School. As soon as I looked through the camera, I was hooked.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My customers range from zero to 199 years old:) Photography truly has a huge dynamic range which allows for a very broad spectrum of customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently have been challenging myself to be able to photograph in foul weather, (rain, snow, storms etc), while using off camera flash's on remotes. I was fortunate to work with a model that did not mind getting her hair wet. We shot outside in the rain for four hours and got some amazing rain images with her in the scene, very dynamic.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would recommend having some creative thoughts to your photography needs. Have a price point or budget in mind for your project while realizing that the personality, experience and creativeness of your photographer is most important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How long have you been doing this? What is the style of your photography? Do you work with the client for ideas? How much time do you spend on the photo shoots? Will you tell me how to pose?
