What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I schedule consultation with the client either over the phone or Skype for session planning. While these are extra steps, it is an opportunity to connect on a personal level for a perfect photo session experience. I like to get to know my client, getting to know each other not only makes the photo sessions more fun but also allows me to create great images suit my client's personality. I often ask myself if this is the best way to portray my client or should I try another perspective, exposure, or add a new element? Is my composition and background right? I take the ideas as a starting point and add my own personality, perspective, and creativity to the portrait sessions. Overall, we make sure to consider every detail of the photo session in order to ensure it is the best it can possibly be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My photography education started before digital. When I lived in overseas, I have taken film photography and darkroom classes. I started digital photography in 2011 with private lessons from a fashion photographer. I have assisted a wedding photographer, that provided on the job training. Finally I went to International Center of Photography in NYC. Addition to all these I take several online classes, PPA Workshops, every year.

I have assisted a wedding photographer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with small and large wedding clients. I work with families for portraits, maternity and newborn shoots. I work with individuals for couple's portraits, lifestyle portraits, head shoots, graduation portraits, personal branding.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Every job is a project for me. I get ready for every session diligently.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire the photographer you personally like.When you find the one, be a loyal client. True artist would go extra mile to deliver better and better each time for the loyal client.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Wedding Clients should decide their date and venue before hiring the photographer. Portrait client should know where they would like to use the photos before the session.
