I have been photographing weddings and similar events since I was in my junior year of college in 2007. I ended up graduating with my Bachelors degree in Art with a minor in photography in 2008 from Buffalo State College. Pricing for wedding coverage starting at $250 with the average cost being spent on photography is around $1500. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Services include having the ability to download from a customized gallery all of the lightly edited images along with obtaining the photo rights for printing. What I also offer is being able to order prints, canvas, thank you cards, and albums from my personal printing company, which you can order straight from your gallery, for an additional fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would like to get you the best price possible after I learn more about your big day. We can then chat either by phone, email, or text. I will then create and customize a package that works for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Art with a minor in photography in 2008 from Buffalo State College. I am also a member of the PPA (Professional Photographer's Association) where I am continuing my education by learning to expand on my skills.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been photographing weddings and similar events since I was in my junior year of college in 2007. I ended up graduating with my Bachelors degree in Art with a minor in photography in 2008 from Buffalo State College. Also to add, I have professional experience specifically in portrait, event, and wedding photography by working as a second shooter while living in Buffalo, NY and the state of Connecticut.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types... I am also an advocate for the LBGTQ+ community as well as people from many different lifestyles, cultures, religions, etc.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To try and talk to the vendors to get to know them and to see if their company is a good fit for what their needs are.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How long do I need a photographer for and how much coverage do I need? Which shots are most important to me to be captured?
