Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I work with YOU! Each package will have a base price or an average price that can be molded to fit your preferences. My pricing reflects the time and care I invest in capturing and editing high-quality images that you’ll cherish for years. I tailor my packages to suit each event, and smaller projects may qualify for discounted rates. There are no hidden fees; I’ll be upfront about what’s included in your package, so you can be confident in what you’re receiving.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start by getting to know you and your vision for the photos. I want you to know I am here for you! We’ll discuss your event, style preferences, and specific shots you’re hoping for. Once we’ve agreed on the details, I’ll confirm everything in a simple contract. After the shoot, I handle all the editing and deliver the finished photos within the timeframe we discussed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve been doing photography since I was little, working alongside my mom, who has over 11 years of experience in the field. I’ve also taken many photography classes to build my skills and have been working independently for the past two years, developing my own unique style and approach.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Photography has been a passion of mine for years. I initially started taking photos for friends and family, and their feedback encouraged me to turn this passion into a business. There’s nothing quite like capturing a moment that tells a story, and I love that my work allows me to do just that.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with couples for weddings, families for portraits, and individuals for special events and creative shoots. Each type of session is unique, and I love the variety of people and stories I get to work with!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently, I photographed a small, intimate wedding. I enjoyed capturing the natural, candid moments and close interactions among the guests. The entire project, from the photoshoot to delivering the final edits, took about two weeks and resulted in images that the couple loved (and their dogs).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a photographer whose style resonates with you and who communicates openly about their process. Be sure to ask about turnaround time, any additional fees, and what’s included in your package. A clear, upfront conversation can ensure you’re both on the same page! Make this about you, it's ok!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Consider what type of shots you want (candid, posed, etc.), your budget, and any specific locations or ideas in mind. It’s also helpful to think about what moments or people are most important to capture. This preparation helps us tailor the session to exactly what you envision.
