What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My full session pricing is still cheaper then most professionals in my area. I like to be at a price point that a family can afford and would want to work with me. Although I'm a decently priced Photographer I still run specials regularly!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I take continuing education classes every year. I learn new things by working closely with other professionals in my same field. There is always room to grow and learn no matter how good you think you are.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

it has always been a dream of mine. And after I had my second child my husband bought me my first small upgraded camera from a basic point and shoot. then 3 years later when I was pregnant with our third he upgraded me again to a beginners DSLR. All of these were just to take photos of our children, but quickly escalated into a business. I'm living my dream doing what I love so deeply by creating art and memories for beautiful families!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with all types of customers from families with newborns to graduating seniors as well as individuals for head shots and modeling.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Most customer want portrait sessions but don't have an idea of what they are looking for. they don't style, location etc.
