Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is average cost and may go up or down depending on travel and what requirements you have for me! Just reach out with any questions!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically we’d hammer out what details need to be discussed (date of shoot, type, location, deliverables) and then I will send a contract your way. It’s super easy and just keeps everything organized. Then we’d check in a few days before the shoot to make sure everything works, shoot, and I get right to editing. Depending on the shoot, I can have images back to you within a week!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied photography for over a year before launching my business. Now I take courses when I’m not shooting! I worked as a real estate photographer for a year and have been running my own business for over 2.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It all started when I was looking for another hobby to take on in high school. I toyed with photography for a year before leaving for a mission for two years, and then picked it back up and taking it seriously. Since then, it’s been a delight working with families, couples, and making new friends.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with corporate organizations, religious groups, intimate settings, large gatherings, and diverse backgrounds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Worked on a wedding located in Lehi and Provo! It was a great morning and I organized about 100 people. We took candid and posed shots. Then had a brief break and reception later that night. Tons and tons of candid shots and I loved capturing the emotions and vibe of the evening! About 7 hours of shooting and then editing time on top of that, I had all the images delivered about 30 days later!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you have someone that coincides with your style. If you find that you love candid shots, find a pro that will work with you on that! Above all, working with someone that is positive and easy to work with is most important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
- What location do you have in mind? - Are there specific shooting styles you’d like to mimic? - Do you like artistic editing styles or simple and natural ones?
