As a graduate from Christopher Newport University, I was challenged to take on new heights in and out of the classroom. I decided to start Romanello Photography. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process for working with a new customer is getting to know them like I know my friends. I want the experience to be fun, real, and natural for the people I'm taking pictures of. Everyone has a different comfortability and style for how they want photos and I will consult with a client on the phone before the photoshoot to make sure you get the photos you dream of.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I had a super fun experience taking a few classes in high school so when I got to college, I started taking photos of my friends and family to begin practicing. I also photograph professionally for my 9-5 job and it's fun to be behind the camera capturing art.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with babies, young children, senior citizens, seniors in college and highschool, families, big parties, couples, and friends!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project I am fond of was the CNU graduation. At my previous job, I worked at CNU as a hall director so when it time for graduation I was able to stay the entire day and capture my students walk across the stage and receive their diploma. It was free for them and I was more than happy to do it.
