Introduction

Allen specializes in documentary wedding photography. He employs a candid and photojournalistic style. His work focuses on storytelling by capturing emotions, interactions, and body language. His goal is to let these authentic moments tell your story as it happens without any staging or posing. He works discreetly and unobtrusively. You can just enjoy your wedding day with each other, with your family, and with your friends, all without posing or being pulled away from the very experience you should be having, your wedding. And while you're at it, it's being captured in a genuine nature.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is very reasonable. My goal is to always add more value to what I'm charging. No matter the price agreed upon, I always give my everything into a project. Delivering the most beautiful result is my priority. The money comes only second yet is still necessary so I can earn a living in order to keep doing what I love to do.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The very first thing I do is establish a friendship. With it comes trust, respect, and confidence. I want my customer to see me as a friend or even a family member. That way, everyone is comfortable around each other and that leads to a stress-free environment where everything unfolds naturally and genuinely. I see beauty in keeping it real.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a self taught photographer and videographer. My desire to learn was fueled by my passion for the art and the memories I create for myself, my friends, and my family. It started as a personal endeavor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started doing photography and videography as a hobby when I travel and have family events. As I kept doing it, I got better and I was enjoying it more and more. I became very passionate about it. It gave me fulfillment because I realized that what I was creating became means for people to relive and preserve those very special memories.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice is to look for someone who not only knows the technical aspect of the job but more importantly knows how to tell a story. It's not just about the fanciest equipment, style, or technique, but rather, combining those with a creative vision in portraying the story in the most authentic and heartfelt way.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I think they should think through questions pertaining to how their story will be told. These are questions involving their interaction with the photographer/videographer during the event.
