Introduction

My work stands out because I prepare in advance for each assignment to ensure high-quality results. I like to work with a sound game plan in place so I'm not leaving anything to chance. Being a people-oriented photographer, I love working closely with my clients as much as they desire to make sure that I am getting the specific results that they want.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I try to keep my pricing simple and straightforward. That way, it is easy for both me as the photographer and the customer to understand what they are getting for what price.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Absolutely. I dedicate time and money annually to keep up on the latest trends and photographic techniques to ensure that my customers are getting high-quality results.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've had a passion for photography since my college days. This is something that I enjoy and I'm got the expertise to help my customers acquire the images that they need.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
On the event side, I am involved in charity auctions, graduations, First Communions and Confirmations. On the commercial side, I almost always do corporate headshots as well as a variety of commercial photography assignments.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my commercial photography customers needed both indoor and outdoor corporate headshots of their employees. Each type of head shot had totally different conditions, and therefore, had to be treated accordingly. If I didn't have the proper equipment and a good game plan in place, this assignment could have a disaster. It is never desirable to have to do anything over.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don't necessarily go for the lowest quote. You generally get what you pay for, so it makes sense to make your decisions based on experience and past work as well.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I wish customers knew that there are a lot of photographers in the marketplace. Experience varies widely among us and it is important that the customer does a good job of interviewing potential photographers and seeing their actual work.
