CAPTURING YOUR LOVE IN A TIMELESS, VIBRANT, AND GENUINE WAY. I discovered my passion for film photography in high school and pursued my bachelor’s degree in Indiana. I got my start as a second shooter in 2016 with weddings that had upwards of 400 guests. The experience solidified my love for capturing the magic of weddings, and it also led me to my passion for more intimate celebrations. As a result, I made the decision to specialize in documenting the beauty and authenticity of smaller weddings, and I love it. I have a passion for both film and digital photography, and I still use the 35mm camera my mom passed down to me that she has in college. After many years of using it solely for personal projects, I have finally started incorporating film into many of my sessions. Film gives a timeless, unfiltered feel that focuses on savoring the moments as they unfold. In the spring of 2018, I officially made the move to the Pacific Northwest and now call Seattle home. I married the love of my life, Joel, at our own intimate wedding. I have an adventurous yet easy-going personality, and I believe that the key to capturing your special day is to truly connect with you and your partner. I prioritize authenticity above all else, and my approach to photography is to adapt and flow with the natural rhythm of your wedding day

Allen specializes in documentary wedding photography. He employs a candid and photojournalistic style. His work focuses on storytelling by capturing emotions, interactions, and body language. His goal is to let these authentic moments tell your story as it happens without any staging or posing. He works discreetly and unobtrusively. You can just enjoy your wedding day with each other, with your family, and with your friends, all without posing or being pulled away from the very experience you should be having, your wedding. And while you're at it, it's being captured in a genuine nature.

I have a fully equipped standalone studio in pioneer square (not in my house or apartment) and I've attached pictures of my studio to my profile. I've shot for executives for major companies like Pepsi and Government officials such as congress and Secretary of Health. I don't charge by the hour and we shoot until you get a headshot photo you're happy with. For COMMERCIAL photography I've shot for major brands like Bushmills Tilamook, and Starbucks. I also shoot with two cameras and sometimes even a second shooter too so every moment is covered and you get the shots you're looking for.
