What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Fika Foto offers a number of photography services designed to keep things simple, including engagement sessions, day of-coverage & anniversary shoots! Once we decide to work together, we will work with you to build a custom wedding package that includes everything you need & nothing you don't to ensure you get maximum value for your wedding day photography. All photos are professionally edited & delivered via a personalized online gallery where you can download all the pictures in stunning high-res with easy options for sharing & ordering prints.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Planning a photography session is hard work - Let me make it easier by helping you identify & plan your photography needs from beginning to end. Once we decide to move forward, you’ll get a copy of our brochure, custom pricing information & a questionnaire to identify your specific photography needs. After that, we'll work together to build a timeline, shot-list & detailed itinerary to make sure all your wedding photography needs are met.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

With a background in fashion-retail & event photography, I focus my aesthetic know-how to capture authentic portraits & document the story as it's told. I love being a part of the moments that make people smile & prefer to capture them as they happen naturally, but I'm not afraid to step in to help arrange photos as needed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've worked for two years now as a professional content creator/manager for a national Seattle-based fashion-retailer. It's given me so many opportunities to experience new situations & I've learned from my time in this role how to deal with many of the nuances that can come up during a shoot.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with everyone from professional models to people who have never been in front of a camera before. From goats to grandmas, photography is a universal language & that's why I love it!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love a good adventure & recently had a shoot with a couple that met at Steven's Pass who wanted to go back & celebrate their marriage in the same spot. They had the ceremony at the top of Hogsback Express & then snow-boarded down the run after they said "I do." It was so fun to have everyone on the mountain that day get to participate & the wedding was even picked up by King 5! What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who respects you & understands your vision. Photography is a two-way exchange between the customer & the photographer. It's important to have open communication & a clear definition of expectations before every shoot! Check out their work & make sure it speaks to you & that your photographer understands the story you want to tell for your wedding day.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Questions like, "What's your photographic style?" & "How many final images should I expect to receive?" are great! Make sure you have a photographer you can communicate your needs too, so that they can better serve you & provide an experience that achieves your expectations!
