Introduction

The Premier headshot Photographer in the Twin Cities. Creating a stunning image that reflects who you are is most important to me. I have over 20 years experience and can make sure you walk away with images better than you ever expected. Whether I'm shooting a single subject, or hundreds of employees, I create a unique and personal photograph that my subjects are proud to show off. Getting my subjects to relax and be their own beautiful selves, and capturing that in photographs are what I strive for.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
$175 to set up setting (location or studio) and $25 for each hero headshot you want me to run through my editing process.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to have a quick phone conversation to get a complete understanding of the expectations of the client and talk about wardrobe, locations and any other options. Then we set the time and date. Create good work. I bring a computer so you will be able to see the images and pick your hero as we shoot. I spend time touching up the hero shots. I will transfer the images electronically to client who review and ok the image(s)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
BFA with double major in photography and minor in advertising design. I ran an actor/actress/model headshot studio for many years and have been working as a commercial photographer ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It has been a dream of mine to be a photographer since I was a little kid.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Everything from individuals wanting new LinkedIn profile photos to bank firms, law firms and relators to huge corporate clients like 3M or General Mills.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A financial management company in Eau Claire WI had me take portraits of all their employees. Using existing light, I shot all 35 people in the front lobby of their business. Each one has a different background because we moved slightly for each person, but it kept the same feel for their website unity.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look closely at the personality of the photographer. They should be someone you can be friends with because if their personality grates with yours, it will show up in the images.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
A picture is with a thousand words. We all get profiled by the image we present to others to view. Use your wardrobe and accessories to tell your story to them. Your image is important.
