We also inspect, and install smoke & CO detectors to make your home safer for you and your family. Our goal on every job is to provide 5 star customer service. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We are competitively priced and offer volume discounts on larger projects. All of our work is backed by a warranty and great customer service. We like to provide clear, upfront pricing so you know exactly what you will pay before we set foot in your home.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We do our best to respond quickly to customer requests and are happy to answer questions/concerns regarding your project. We can make recommendations and if there are ways you can save money, we are glad to let you know those options as well.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We've been in this industry for 10 years and during that time have worked in thousands of homes, dealt with just about every lock/hardware there is to see. Our NC Locksmith License is #2307 (can be verified online).

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Around 2011 I began working for a company in Austin, TX as a technician that offered paid job training. After a couple years I moved up to Service Manager, then was offered a position as Business Development Manager in Portland OR, a new market for the company. In 2016, family obligations required our family to relocate back to SC where I established Secure Home LLC and have been growing our customer base from the Upstate to serve most of the NC and SC metro areas.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We mainly focus on serving the needs of homeowners and residential services. We also work regularly with property management and home warranty companies. We do not offer automotive locksmith services.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are a reputable company that can be trusted with the keys to your home (all our techs are employees not subcontractors and have to pass a drug test and criminal background check before being hired). Ask for references and proof of insurance if there are any doubts. BEWARE of locksmiths who will not provide upfront job costs, this is usually a sign that they will try to price gouge the customer once they are in the home using high pressure tactics and intimidation.
