What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices are at a set rate depending on the day and time.... Weekday Daytime 8-5 are standard rates and After hours, weekends and holidays are premium

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customer contact,.. We then discuss their needs, their best option that will meet their goal. Most cases, we can do a remote quote although some have to be a Ballpark range before hand so our customers know what their cost ranges could be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been a licensed Locksmith and Access Control Technician for over 16 years and my business partner in Austin, has been a locksmith for over 14 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After retiring from the USAF, I worked for DHS. Later in 2005, I started working for a top Locksmith company and moved rapidly to the AGM and Later became their Project Manager. Then an opportunity came to work with a large locksmith Franchise where I excelled to later owning my own business

I’ve worked with all customers from Residential, corporate companies, Government and both commercial and Residential Real Estate. We can work with anyone..

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Changed out and keyed 250 Apartments for bank, Federal Building Access Control System install, HUD, FedX Distribution Hub, Amazon Distribution Hub, Macy’s Stores Access Control system installations, Shell Petroleum Training Facility $250K, etc. Some of these projects took a few weeks, and some took up to a year but most of my recent work is now in commercial and Residential.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check their reviews. There are plenty Fly by night unlicensed individuals that will scam anyone for a buck. Do your research!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Make sure you write all questions down. The more you know, less the surprises. Their background, their experiences, their reputation and positive reviews. And make sure you ask if they are Insured/Bonded. For larger jobs, ask for references.
