What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I ask if they have sensitive skin to anything. It’s really important because no one wants a client to have a reaction on their special occasion. I also encourage to show a photo of what you want and to be detailed of what you don’t want so the end results leaves you happy.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’m a self taught makeup artist. I’ve always loved makeup. It’s a form of art we use in an artistic way to express who we are.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

After realizing other artists weren’t willing to work with a client last minute, I ended up changing my schedule around to accommodate theirs. It was a complete rush for me because of the limited time the client had. Within an hour, we choose her outfit after a few fittings, did her makeup & styled her hair. That’s not something I would recommend to a client but sometimes we have to work with what we have.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would definitely recommend asking a provider what measures they are taking to keep everyone covid safe.
