Welcome! I am a certified beauty and special effects makeup artist. I have graduated from The L Makeup Institute, as well as the GlamLab Makeup Academy. I have been in the beauty industry professionally since 2017. I am currently a freelance artist for Smashbox! In the beauty world I love to do everything from bridal looks, to theater and film looks. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing has taxes included, but do not include travel fees. There is an early morning fee applied to appointments that require a start time before 8:00AM.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get to know all of my new clients and learn a little bit about the event they are going to, what type of look they are wanting, and their skin type. Learning these things about my client before hand really allows me to plan in advance and get the right products lined up for your specific skin type and look you would like.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to school for beauty and SFX makeup at the L Makeup Institute in Las Vegas, NV, graduating in 2017. I then took another freelance makeup certification course in 2019 at the GlamLab Academy in San Francisco, Ca.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Ever since graduating in 2017, I have been working in the beauty industry with companies like Sephora and ULTA. I freelance for Smashbox Cosmetics, as well as run my own makeup business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with men and women of all ages! From teens to seniors, there is a look for everyone! I also offer my services to film and TV.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did makeup for attendees of a debutant ball associated with the Oakland’s Children’s hospital. It took about 5 hours total to finish everyone!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure to look at their work beforehand. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and clearly communicate your vision.
