What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is based on the current market average, I strive to keep my prices as competitive as possible. Also, I like to provide touch up kits to my clients at no extra cost, so they can enjoy their makeup looks as long as needed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My 1st step when working with a new customer, is doing a consultation so I can better understand their goals and to ask questions about their skin type and skin tone. Follow up is very important to me, you can expect constant communication until our project is complete!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I successfully completed the Elite Makeup Course with SFX from Vizio Makeup Academy, which makes me a certified Makeup Artist. Proud to say my overall score upon graduating was 98.2%

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I needed a creative outlet after working a boring 9-5 for years. I've always loved doing makeup on myself and giving advice to my family and friends, so I figured being an MUA would come naturally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I specialize in bridal makeup, fantasy makeup, face painting and special effects.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had so much fun creating my most recent project, which was a zombie makeup look to promote my services for Halloween. I played around with different textures, gashes and wounds, overall this project only took 2hrs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's not the end of the world if you don't have any inspo pics or don't quite know what look suits you best. A good makeup artist is trained to know what tones flatter you the most and bring out your best features.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should ask for an estimate of the duration of time to complete their desired project, in order to prep and coordinate with other hired vendors for the event such as hairstylist or photographers.
