Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is based on the type of project I am doing, how many services, the location, time required for specific projects, and travel.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically the client will reach out to me asking for a quote and my availability for the services they are requesting. I will ask the client to provide me with details such as the date of services, how many people receiving services, and what kind (hair or makeup) so that I can provide an appropriate and reasonable quote. Clients can reach me via Thumbtack, Instagram, by email, phone, or through my website.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a licensed Cosmetologist and have been practicing since 2011. I continue to educate myself as the industry continues to evolve and change.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Working in the fashion industry for many years I have worked with a variety of different clients, models, art directors, photographers, and videographers. I do my best to make everyone I work with feel comfortable, relaxed, and listened to. My goal is to bring the vision to life that each client is looking for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always look at their work and reviews if possible. Reach out to them and get a feel for if they are the right fit for you. You can always request a phone call or trial run before making your decision. Do not give money to anyone without a written agreement.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Things to think about before reaching out to a professional are, how much are you looking to spend, what type of services and style you want, and do you have enough time for the services you are requesting? -If you are looking for hair and makeup services for a wedding I recommend booking as soon as possible to get the professional you want. Wedding season books up fast.
