Hello! My name is Ana and I’m a Miami HMUA specializing in SFX. I’m the definition of a well rounded artist having trained in London, Cali, New York and Miami. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician and I’m currently learning permanent makeup. I’ve been doing makeup for 10 years and have been professionally working as a hair and makeup artist since 2020. I’ve worked with big brands during New York fashion week, Miami swim week and work with celebrity clients and actors/ models everyday. I’ve started to dive into creative direction and find myself organizing projects from start to finish. I’m a one women show most times being the MUA, photographer, set designer and stylist and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I genuinely just love to be artistic and create. Projects big and small, simple or complex, I’m down for it all! My passion for the industry shows in my work and my attitude. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve taken courses in London, California, New York, Maryland and Miami. I’ve specialized in sfx and have recently started taking more Bridal and glam jobs. My love for everything beauty keeps me motivated, continuously learning and creating.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve always loved makeup and couldn’t imagine doing anything else as a career. When I finished high school I became a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician and now I get to do what I love everyday! 🫶🏽

What types of customers have you worked with?

when you book with me trust it will be a safe space to unwind and feel your best! From celebrity clients and actors to brides and everyday clients, I’ve worked with everyone and welcome everyone into my chair all the same.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently got my makeup published to vogue Italia, I wasn’t anticipating this as it was just me shooting for fun with friends. It’s one of my favorite looks as it’s editorial and out of the box. Feel free to check it out, it’s pinned on my Instagram!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be picky! Shop around until you find an artist that can execute what you’re looking for. Ask as many questions as you need and trust that if you pick an artist as detailed and experienced as me you’ll be taken care of and catered to!
