What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My fees for my services are not complicated. I prefer to quote a price according to each specific job requirement because each persons needs are different.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Actually I am no longer required to continuing ed classes but if you think you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room. I am forever learning new techniques and staying beyond infinity with knowledge about my industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I come from a long line of artist in my family and having a photographic memory of color definitely gives me the ability to create the image in my mind of what I want to do. I started with modeling and then designing programs for makeup applications and skincare treatments for self improvement programs for modeling schools.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I am an esthetician so besides makeup for every type of event, I do facials etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Volunteered ,as I always do, for Camp Sunshine. This is where children go who are under treatment for cancer and I apply makeup and do their nails and hair. You cannot image how I feel seeing their precious faces when I finish. They are all Kings and Princesses for the day and I thank God for giving me the opportunity to give back the talent he has given me to help others.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would like people to consider talking with the makeup artist before making a decision of who to hire for their event. You can learn far more about a person when you have a more personal contact with them and an understanding of what you both want to acheive.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I feel I learn from my clients as much as they learn from me. Meeting new people enrichs my life and I always enlarge my circle of friends.
