What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Altho it is not required in our industry... yes! I do my best to get my hands on every little piece of info I can, to keep me up to date & on trend!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

By accident! I originally was going to school to be an interior designer. I was working at a department store jewelry counter part time. Management needed someone to fill in at a cosmetic counter while another artist was on maternity leave. They offered me the position, the artist didn't come back...& I fell in love with the world of makeup!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Weddings, special events, competitions, & photo shoots.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Sometimes the most popular business/artist isn't always the best choice. Be open to the small business artists.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Makeup artists are human, too. We make mistakes. If you don't care about the look you are given, or decide you don't care for a look that you thought you wanted... please let me know! I'm always willing to fix & adjust!
