MAKEUP SERVICES ONLY ONSITE LOCATION/NO TRAVEL My name is Irina, I’m a makeup artist and a registered nurse specialized in Aesthetic Medicine, and makeup has been my passion for 18+ years. Making women feel splendid on their special day has been my inner enthusiasm for makeup all these years. I believe makeup is not only an appearance, is a self care necessity for our mental and physical health, and when looking beautiful on the outside, our inner drive brings out more confidence in ourselves. To make my clients feel comfortable and safe while getting their makeup done, and for reducing and preventing the spread of Covid-19, I abide to sanitation and safety precaution standards and guidelines: -Makeup Artist Sanitation Standards (MASS) -World Health Organization (WHO) -Center for Disease Control (CDC) Skin consultation before applying makeup to my clients, as well as researching the ingredients in the products, is a must in my work in order to eliminate any potential skin reactions and minimizing the harmful chemicals used in the mass products. My priorities are clients satisfaction and quality of service, meaning I listen to my clients needs and I make sure they always have a smile on their face before they leave for their special event. If you have any special occasion, bridal, prom, photoshoot, red carpet looks or want to go out and look outstanding, contact me and I will promise to make you look like a star. I also provide one-on-one private makeup lessons from beginners to advanced both virtual and in person. In order to understand your needs better and provide you with a much more specific proposal, I will send you a pre-event survey to take at time of confirmation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For events of 4 people or more, I offer each a discount. Pricing can be discussed to better accommodate my clients budget and needs, depending on the event type and the amount of time it necessitates. First 10 miles of travel from zip code 60025 free then, $30 per additional 10 miles. To book for events of 3 people or more, a $50 deposit is required to secure the time and date, which is applied towards the makeup session. Client will be responsible for parking fees or reimbursement. One-on-one private makeup lessons (beginners to advanced) requires minimum 2 hours depending on student’s level. Student can attend in person at my location or I travel to location (travel fees may apply), also offer virtual class live.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After confirming the appointment with my client, I provide a survey so that I understand and accommodate the needs and preferences for the special occasion. I also ask my client to do a phone consultation before meeting to get to know them better, confirm last minute details, and create the look together that they desire.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have salon experience in makeup application for all types of events, and previously owned a salon. My continuous up-to-date research and hands-on makeup work as a freelancer gave me much diverse experience with all different skin types and tones.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Makeup is my passion that I fell in love with from a really young age. I started doing makeup on myself and other friends for different occasions. I went to school for nail technician which got me to work in a salon where I started doing makeup too, and because everyone liked my makeup application, later I focused on this field.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients of all skin types, color, ages, and gender for any type of events from simple natural looks to spectacular looks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise to have an idea of the look you want and communicate it with your makeup artist, and specify all the requests so that you are completely satisfied for your special event. If I like to look perfect on all my special events, I always work hard to ensure my clients will look the same as well. I believe that it’s important to have a makeup artist that understands how to handle and follow safety precautions, use proper sanitation between customers, and does research on the products to better accommodate different skin types.
