What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes. I am very diligent in learning new trends and being as up to date as possible. I take online courses and continuing education courses. I also enjoy going to beauty shows and expos!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Since I can remember I've always loved all aspects of the beauty industry! I've always loved playing with people's hair or my dolls hair as a kid. As for makeup...it's so fun to be able to transform someone or to bring out natural beauty. Truly rewarding!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I perform hair and makeup applications for wedding, prom, formal/special events and photo shoots.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find a professional that will listen to you and your needs. Ask questions as well. For me, not everything is cut and dry. I am willing to work with my clients as I want to meet and exceed expectations while providing exceptional service!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It's not always easy. Sometimes it may take more than one process to get what the client wants. Sometimes it is working towards an end result. Reason being, for me, I like to do these processes the proper, healthy way that will not damage your hair integrity.
