Introduction

Hi my name is Jenni. I have been working as a makeup artist for the last 10 years. I've been obsessed with makeup ever since I was told I wasn't allowed to do it. I studied everything I could get my hands on and began working in theater and arts. From there I honed my skills at MAC for 7 years, taking appointments on a regular basis where I worked on a diverse group of people with different goals. I love when a client see's what I see and the happiness they get from it. It's the power of the transformation and it's the process of creating living art that brings me joy. Whatever your makeup needs are, I got you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing and fees vary depending on the type of event and the distance. Bridal makeup is priced differently than bridesmaids and guests . Please indicate at time of booking.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I really like to get to know a customers wants and needs. I usually go over their skin type, their comfort levels, what they are wearing, etc. because I really want them to love it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have worked for MAC for several years doing training with them.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started working in makeup in high school. I had the opportunity to do makeup in theatre productions. From there I sought out more opportunities and did makeup for a youth fashion show and began working for MAC as soon as I could to broaden my skillset.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked on a large variety of people. I make it my mission to know how to work on every face imaginable.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently did a regular clients makeup as a wedding guest. We chatted and I got to show her some new techniques that she can use for everyday. I really love showing people tips and tricks that make their lives easier.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who ask questions. Questions about what you want are a sign that they are trying to make sure the look you are going for is molded for you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It is really helpful if you address your skin type (dry, oily, normal, etc). This allows the makeup artist to cater all of the products to fit you in particularly. For instance if you have extremely oily eye lids or oily skin my approach is going to change to make sure that the makeup and products overall can compensate.
