I believe makeup is for EVERYONE, and I cater to all genders, all skin tones, all skin types, there will be absolutely no discrimination here, it is not tolerated. I absolutely love a full glam, but natural looks steal my heart as well😇 I am so proud to call myself a makeup artist, and I am so lucky to have the most lovely clients. I look forward to welcoming you to my chair!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My goal is for every one of my clients to feel like my friends by the end of the appointment. I absolutely love learning about things that make you happy, that you love to do, your life etc. I want to build REAL relationships, because that is what I would want out of a makeup artist myself! As I start to learn likes and dislikes the process becomes easier, quicker and more enjoyable for both of us!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a self taught makeup artist, and very proud to be! I have over 7 years of experience and practice. As for formal education, I worked in the retail beauty industry for 3 years, I worked for Ulta as well as Clinique. I have been trained by both companies, sent to schools and trainings! I have learned so much through them about skin types and skin tones, and so much through my constant practice on my own. I also am certified in sanitation through the Sanitation Conversation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always loved makeup my whole life. Makeup helped me through a lot of anxiety growing up. I am very open talking about it! I began doing prom makeup for my friends in high school 7 years ago, and I haven't stopped since, and I have just taken off since there!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
In makeup, "types of customers" is split into SO many different categories! I will try to name all of them, because I have worked with all of them! I have worked with -all skin tones (very fair skin tones, to deep dark skin tones, and all undertones) -all skin types (rosacea, acne, scars, texture, large pores, dry skin, oily skin, aging skin) -all genders (however you identify! I will always respect you and your pronouns!) -all religious affiliations! (I would never turn someone away, question your beliefs, or disrespect your beliefs) Makeup is for anyone and everyone.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had a wonderful appointment with the sweetest client. She was having a very small, covid safe wedding on her grandmothers birthday, as a surprise for her grandmother! I did her hair and makeup. She wanted Old-Hollywood waves and they turned out SO beautiful, I was so proud of myself. I also did a very natural, glowy face with plum tones in the eyeshadow. She looked SO beautiful. I was so happy with the outcome. I hope to glam her up again!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who makes you feel comfortable! Makeup is such an intimate service, we not only are glamming up your beautiful face, but can be your personal therapist for an hour! You want to choose someone you feel a connection with, someone you can see yourself using for years to come!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Make sure you are organized when it comes to date and time! Makeup takes 45 minutes-1 hour per person, and I want to make sure I have enough time so you are not running late! As long as I know when you need me to show up and be ready by, you will be ready on time!
