Introduction

Hi my name is Savannah! I have been in the beauty industry since 2008. I graduated from cosmetology school in 2009. Shortly after I started working for MAC Cosmetics until about 2014. I then continued my passion for beauty doing make-up for weddings and events such as Photoshoots, Commercials, Prom, Birthdays, Pageants, Body Building Competitions, Sweet 16, Baptisms.. you name it, if there is a reason to wear make-up I've done it! I have a huge passion for Make-up but more importantly the impact it has on women and men all over the world. I love the empowerment it can bring to the individual. I love that first look in the mirror after I have completed their look. The smile on their face is what makes this job so fulfilling! I would love to hear from you and work with you in the future! - JussSavvyBeauty

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I like to be very fair with my pricing. My pricing is based on my experience and skill level but it can vary based on the job, products being used, party size and location. :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process for new customers is understanding your needs and expectations first. That way were on on the same page. I do require 30% deposit to secure your time and date which is paid through a secure square link and I am able to take multiple forms of payment including google and apple pay.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I worked for Mac for 5 years. I’m a licensed cosmetologist as well as certified lash tech. I’ve been doing bridal make up and events since 2008!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started when I was very very young. About 8 years old actually i started playing with make-up and doing it for my friends! I officially started my career after I completed beauty school and started working for Mac Cosmetics in 2008.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with customers as young as 3 all the way to 98 years of age! I have also worked with all sexes and races. Thankfully i have had the opportunity to service everyone. There are no limitations when it comes to beauty!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I really enjoyed was for a party of 4 outstanding women! It was a mom and her 3 daughters that were attending a wedding as guests. We ended up doing hair and make-up for all 4 of them and they were just so full of life! We laughed our butts off majority of the time and got to learn so much about each other! It was just overall great vibes and a room full of ambitious young ladies. We loved every minute and they looked stunning before and after! :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would say when hiring a pro, you def want to take a close look at their portfolio! You can have very talented people but if that isn't your style of glam you may be disappointed! I think the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is so so true. Also keep in mind and don't be afraid to ask why they are priced they way they are. You could think its in regards to skill level but maybe it is because of the quality of products they use or vice versa! Always be respectful of your pro but it is ok to ask them why they are priced that way.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How long should I expect this service to take? How do you sanitize your supplies? How long have you been doing this? What products do you use? are just a few good questions
