Rates vary based on the season and higher inflation and Thumbtack marketing fees. However, I do my best to work within your budget and offer reasonable rates. The dates are sent out based on the availability in my calendar.* I am also very experienced with South Asian makeup and hair styling, but Do Not provide draping services.* With my years of experience on TV sets and working with celebrities,high profile personalities, and many brides of all cultural backgrounds , I have gained extensive knowledge with many different complexions, skin types, and hair textures. I will make sure you are going to look absolutely fabulous leaving my chair for your wedding, formal / special occasions, or photo/video shoot with a great sense of satisfaction. I will listen to your needs, give my 100%, and offer you high-quality service for great prices. For large groups, I offer discounted packages and work with skilled professional team members for additional charges, which are highly recommended. Traveling is free in NYC except tolls and mileage for long-distance drive. Trials are also available for flat rates, and I will provide them in my studio or for extra $40 traveling fees + any toll fees to your location . I highly encourage you to ask specific questions if you are interested in learning more about my services. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rates varies based on -The nature of the job, if is a photo shoot. a wedding, fashion shoot and etc... -How many people are interested in my services, -Location I do offer affordable rates and discount group packages based on the season as well. Deposit and contracts are required for events and a large number of people who are inquiring my service.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step is to know what type of makeup or hair style you like to have for your photo shoot or event and have you to provide reference pictures. Also the time that you need to be ready. The more details you provide the better I am able to work with your expectations and make you feel absolutely gorgeous and confident. We can set up a phone consultation or a trial that helps us to speak about any of your concerns, try out styles so make you feel more comfortable on the actual day of your photo shoot or event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my degree in fine arts :painting and photography . Since I always loved to work in beauty I got training from Vidal Sassoon head of the beauty department privately . Soon after I became a national then international artist and trainer for major cosmetic brands and I had an opportunity to work and study products, travel and train artists in Salons, Major department stores and Sephora all over the states. After some years of traveling I decided to become a full time freelancer and spend more time with my family. One of my great first freelance jobs was working at the Film Junket with Martin Scorsese. I got certified in Makeup Academy in Airbrush and Hd Makeup for camera and films. Since then I attend workshops to keep up with new trends in beauty also has good knowledge in SFX and character makeup.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I spent hours as a child in my mom's makeup bags trying to create faces for myself and my sister. From Fine Arts I ended up getting back to my original passion : Makeup and hairstyling

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with the whole range of customers from different cultural background and age groups with all skin tones and complexions, hair lengths and textures .I have worked with both clients who have never had professional makeup application done and the ones who were vey savvy in makeup. I also have experience working with men and children.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I was featured on CBS live Morning show demonstrating quick and fun Halloween makeup for 3 siblings of different ages . I had 30 minutes to complete it .

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

-Look for quality and experience. -Don't always shop for the lowest rate but for true professionals who perform and deliver high quality service. -Ask questions if you have concerns and ask your professionals what works and doesn't work with your style. -Any allergy or product sensitivity After all makeup and hair looks are very subjective and you want to feel good when you get out of the chair.
