Working for Saks Fith Avenue I was approached for such things as T.V. And runway makeup.

I've been blessed with the kindest of clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Teaching a teenager how to apply her makeup properly is something I am often approached for. They don't realize how beautiful they are at that age and that less is better. It's usually an hour or so.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go with your gut. Speak with a few artists and see who is most knowledgeable and puts you at ease.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Many brides who wear little makeup have often been talked into having a dramatic look and are not comfortable with it. My first question if I were in a bride's position would be "Do you listen to a client's needs?" And the artist should not be offended. Second, if a bride does want a dramatic look, ask to see photos. If an artist is not experienced, dramatic can turn into scary.
