unfold fold
Our prices are relatively competitive for personalized one on one services at any venue, home or corporate event. We offer referral discounts which more information can be found on our website.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process for working with new customers are as follows: we begin having a consultation on colors, looks, products, allergies and preferences . We discuss time allotted for the event, lighting, space , number of attendants and venue. We ask clients to bring images that they have from Google images or Pinterest in for a reference of the look they would like. A makeup trial is performed and or more time scheduled day of if clients are confident in our artist skills. When we are hired for a event contracts and deposits are completed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
There is always continuing education in the cosmetic world every couple of years our team has to complete testing and training to hold license. I personally am a Alumni of Paul Mitchell in Twinsburg with Makeup Honors and also I also received an Associates Degree in Art at Lakeland and plan on gaining continuing education in business and marketing. I have recently completed a 3 day runway training at Beachwood mall using the Dior product line for Cleveland fashion week. My team and I are always studying new hair and makeup techniques to keep up with current trends.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I always loved painting and drawing and anything in the creative arts. I enjoyed makeup and it was a hobby for me before college . A fine arts professor and instructor loved my makeup and asked me to provide makeup applications for her theatrical performance s and for dance recitals. That is when I knew that I wanted to be a makeup artist for a career. After completing my Associates in Art I decided to earn my cosmetology license at the Paul Mitchell school in Twinsburg, where I completed makeup honor as participated in Design Team.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Our team completes a lot of Bridal and glamour events and prom makeup right now. Occasionally we work in photo shoots to update our portfolios and create makeup and hair art. We love doing business and fashion collaborations nd networking in the area and want to meet as many interesting people. My team and I especially are excited to learn and perfect different creative techniques.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently started working more with glitter eye makeup and at first I had to adjust my technique and products I was using but I am now happy with the results. I am always learning new techniques. I learned how to do eyelash extensions it takes hours to apply a set but they look so amazing

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always have a consultation done that way it takes out the guess work on the actual day and so your look turns out how you envisioned.Keep in constant communication with your professional. Also if something comes up another client has the chance to hire that professional . Let them know if there are any changes, or if you need the professional to work with in your budget because their craft is how they take care of there families and they allocated time for that event. Always ask and artist if they can adjust the price if their initial price does not fit in your budget, like you have large number of people for an example that is in your event if the price per person could be lowered. That way the artist/s will still be able to make a profit for that event. Give your hairstylist and makeup artists plenty of time for any adjustments and always keep in contact with your cosmetologist . If you like an artist fill out a contract early.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What the weather may be like on that day, what are other options for hair and makeup if weather permits, and another question to ask oneself is do I have time for a consultation. Can I schedule a trial with my bridesmaids for a ladies night out or engagement photos and or add additional time for any last minute changes day of. Do I have any allergies to any products. Do I need hair extension services because they need to be done week prior at minimum the day before so thorough consultation needs to be done I don’t provide the hair but I do provide the install services.
