Introduction

I paid my way through college by helping people feel beautiful in their skin. It all started with red lipstick boosting our collective confidence at the height of the Great Recession. I was working at Sephora and learned from founders of some of the top names in luxury beauty. In just 1.5 years, I became a regional trainer for stores in PA and OH. My experience with makeup is LGBTQIA+ friendly. Since 2011, I’ve provided on-site bridal makeup and lessons for women in Pennsylvania. I took a break to focus on my career and education in marketing. To revisit my preferred medium for my artistic side, I’m reestablishing this service to offer on-site makeup services for brides and their friends and family. My clients love that I customize their makeup look to budget and comfort level. Bring your own foundation and mascara to ensure hygiene. All other makeup, brushes and tools are provided. Services include: -Bridal consultation -Shopping list and collaboration via Pinterest or other means if you prefer -Bridal party and family makeup application -False lash application -Airbrush makeup -Natural and glam makeup -Skincare consultation -Light hair styling

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing includes false lash application and all color makeup products. Clients should provide foundation and mascara for hygiene purposes and to avoid skin reactions. Special pricing for airbrush.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

While working at Sephora, I found a passion helping brides feel comfortable on their big day. What I love most is customizing products and services for a client that still wants to look like themselves!

What types of customers have you worked with?

All ages, including matrons of honor, family members like the mothers and grandmothers of the bride and groom, and flower girls (just HD powder, blush & gloss).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Schedule a trial run so we can get to know each other, ensure no skin reactions to products used, and possibly try a few different makeup looks.
