Hey! I’m Kelsea Peña, a local certified Makeup Artist located here in San Antonio that specializes in soft glam and neutral full glam. I take deep pride and passion in my work. Being part of someone’s most special moments, whether it’s a wedding, a photoshoot, or a night out is a true privilege that fuels my drive. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My prices are based off my skills set, my experience and my education! You’re getting an educated artist who knows what she’s doing, listens to what you want and creates the perfect look for you!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I love starting off conversations with saying, “ Hey love, how are you?” Just to set the tone that I see them for them and for their potential business. After that we go into the occasion the makeup is for, If they have any inspo pictures and from there we will tailor their perfect makeup look! After that’s settled we will book the date and time and at the appointment I will ask about skin care, allergies, how they typically for their makeup. Non- negotiables etc!

I am a certified professional makeup artist

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been doing my own makeup for about 8+ years and I quickly realized how much I love the feeling and wanted to provide the same experience to others!

All women of all ages

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently did a soft glam for a maternity shoot, and the makeup made her so happy to the point of emotions! It was truly a beautiful experience that I’m happy she felt beautiful and excited for her shoot

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It’s okay to ask questions, provide photos and never be scared to add, take off or change anything about your makeup! This is your face so as the client your happiness is priority and you deserve to not only look beautiful, but to FEEL beautiful!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are their non negotiable! Like what do you NOT LIKE AT ALL! IRS important to get that discussed first so we can have that already set and won’t cause delays in the glam
