I was trained at the Makeup For Ever Academy, and built my experience by assisting some of the top artists in the industry. I love giving each client a personal experience, starting with a customized skincare prep through to the final touches, using only high quality products. My experience with fashion editorials, beauty shoots, weddings, and film/tv make me more than qualified to get the job done. I love making my clients feel like an upgraded version of themselves!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Thumbtack sends out automatic quotes for some jobs according to their matching system, so they are not always tailored to each particular client. I am always open to questions and flexible with my pricing. Each client has individual needs, and I consider pricing for each job on a case by case basis!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Lets chat! Either via the Thumbtack messaging system, through text, or by phone, whatever your preference. From there we can work out the details: date, time, location. I also love getting inspo images or personal photos to really get an idea of your perfect look . Finally, we confirm pricing based on your special needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was trained at the Makeup For Ever Academy, and built my experience by assisting some of the top artists in the industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have a background in design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I worked in womenswear previously, which I think allows me a unique advantage to combine makeup and hair skills with an in-depth knowledge of color theory, fashion, and beauty trends.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I am so comfortable working with private clients for weddings, events, and headshots. I love doing photoshoots, (editorial/ lookbooks/ health and fitness. I also have years of experience working on commercials, tv, and film. You name it, I've done it! There are plenty of examples of all types of my work on my website listed above.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently I worked on a short film produced and created by an all women cast and crew. It was 4 days of shooting, and is currently making its rounds on the indie film festival circuit! Its called "Believe Her"

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's important to check several profiles to find an artist that speaks to your personal style. Jump right in and don't be shy about asking any and all questions.!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Confirming the time and date of your event is key! Your artist is blocking time out of a busy schedule for you and schedule changes and cancellations do happen, but just be open about this and let your artist know details ASAP.
