All rates on Thumbtack are starting rates. Please provide details about the services you need so that I can give you the best quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk about the vision they have in mind and then possibly make suggestions on how we can achieve the look they are wanting. It's also important for the client to let the artist know about any allergies or concerns.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've had the privilege to continue my craft and education with Donna Mee, a celebrity makeup artist and one of the top beauty educators in the world known for developing extremely advanced techniques and application skills known as ‘The Donna Mee MakeupMethods.’ I am certified in Temptu HD Pro airbrush.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've worked for several companies like Lancome, Chanel, Dior, and MAC. I have also worked as a bridal and special event makeup artist in a high end salon and day spa.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with customers of all ethnicities. Runway, corporate, brides, HS Seniors, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I've worked on many projects with talented artists and stylists as well as professional photographers and entrepreneurs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You really do get what you pay for so make sure you choose your artist or stylist wisely for your next event. For brides, remember that photos are for a lifetime so you want to make sure your makeup is timeless and well done. Always ask questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It's important to think about the time each service takes. Consider finish time, wrap up and getting dressed before a scheduled event. Ask about travel fees, street/hotel parking fees, gratuity and if your booking requires one or more artists.
