I am a mentor, entrepreneur, life coach and teacher. I have 8 years of experience in counseling and teaching. I have my own mentoring and life coaching business called Reaching Back. I help people become the best they can be. I take your fears of failure and change them to beliefs in success. I listen then come up with a plan that will help you reach your goal. I enjoy watching people succeed in life. I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with someone and helping them become the best person they can be. It makes me happy when i can bring happiness to someone's life. Everything I do from mentoring and teaching kids to assisting adults with pursuing their dreams , involves helping people. I love to give back because I know I didnt get to where I am by myself. Everyone including myself needs that push to make it over the wall. We need someone to listen. We need someone to care. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I set my price on the severity of the customers request. If it seems to be a goal more difficult than another customers , the price is raised. My goal is to spend enough time with the customer that will ensure a successful plan to real their goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process is the initial meeting which involves getting to know the customer. Writing down the goals. Coming up with a plan to reach those goals. Executing the plan and setting a deadline.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 8 years of experience teaching and life skills counseling. I have taken many trainings on dealing with behavior, parent/child conflict and financial literacy.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started doing this type of work by doing in home crisis intervention. I have also loved helping people. I assist families with conflict, budgeting, savings, goal setting etc. I love working with kids so that was the inspiration for starting my mentoring program.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with kids. I have worked with single moms having conflict with their child. I have worked with men and women on dealing with family problems( anger management, depression. relationships) o starting a business. I also do workshops and wrote 3 books.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently finished a video that took about 4 days. It was very challenging. I enjoyed the project and plan on doing more.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choose someone who has your best interest at heart. A great professional wants you to succeed just as much as themselves. You want someone who will push you and put a belief in you that wasnt there before.

Customers should have something in place before asking for assistance. The more detailed information you have on what you want , the easier and more effective the professional can be.
