What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The initial session is designed to identify the source of the issue(s) the couple/individual is experiencing. For example, most people believe that communication may be their only issue, but communication is like a headache, it is a symptom not the actual source of the problem that creates the miscommunication or lack thereof. The approach I use is to practice effective listening, while engaging with my client to get to the source. Once the source of the issue is identified, we (the client(s) and I) develop a plan of action moving forward to address the issues but also remove the source of the issues. My pricing is designed to accommodate those who are looking and can afford the qualitative and valuable service I provide. The prices offered by the different professionals on Thumbtack make affordability a non-issue because clients are able to find professionals that meet every price point, and consider every need individual clients may have.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I listen to the client identify their issue, ask some relevant questions, and then the client and I will determine exactly what their need is? Once the need is established we address it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters in Psychology, and a Masters in Adult Education and Training. I have had my own Life Coaching business for 14 years where I provided individual and marriage counseling services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started my own Life coaching business back in 2008. I worked with NFL athletes, attorneys, civil servants, families and individuals.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with professionals including: professional athletes, attorneys, doctors, etc. I have also worked with individuals and families.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Working on developing a spiritual study group, which I committed to and host every Sunday at 10:00 am. I also have a young adult Zoom group session on Saturday mornings at 10:00am

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Establish your goal first and foremost! What do you want to accomplish from this interaction i.e. the outcome of this decision; what are you willing to invest, and commit to, and how much are you willing to pay to get the results you want? Is the professional on the same page as you? Ask the right questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What are my expectations, what do I want out of the encounter, and can I commit to the process identified to accomplish my goals.
